Live Bird Feeder Cams – Prairie Village, Kansas.
You will see many types of birds here during the day such as: Blue Jays, Cardinals, Flickers, Woodpeckers, Sparrows, Finch and many other song birds. At night you will see O’Possum and possibly other critters such as Raccoon. The camera owner Tom sets out bird and wildlife feed everyday.
The food is a mixture of millet, sunflower chips, chopped tree nuts, shelled peanuts, dried cranberries, cherries, added calcium, Nyjer seed and more. Feeders are also put out for Hummingbirds during the warmer months.
You can rewind the cameras up to 4 hours by clicking and dragging on the red progress bar within the video. All of these cameras are a fixed view and some are left on 24/7 if there is enough leftover food from the day. During nesting season(around April-June), one or more of the cams could be moved to a Cardinal, Robin or other bird nest for your viewing pleasure.

Check out the Cardinal Nest.

So far, the cardinals have not built a new nest this spring on top of the fan on our front porch. We think it’s been the same cardinal pair every year, and since the male disappeared last year, the female may have died or moved on.
is this pole
this pole?
@Deborah Yes.
the cat is playing with the squirrels
I like the way the squirrel is peeking around the corner to check on the cat 😄
wonder where the leaves came from? this little bugger is the culprit
this is where he dropped them, I thought they were stuck to him but it looks like he was carrying them in his tail and purposely dropped them where he wanted them…looks like he left you a present Tom 😄
Yes, we saw that. We had to go back on the cam ourselves to see where they came from too. Wonder if it was gathering for its nest and then got distracted by the food table. LOL
