Live Stork Nest

You are watching live broadcasts of wild Storks nesting. On the first camera is a pair of mating White Storks in Gögglingen, Germany. The bedding is made mostly of sticks mixed with green moss. The 2nd camera is a Black Stork nest in the Gemenc forest of Hungary - Note: If the screen is black it's night time.

Well, another snow day in Gogglingen – Sat., 12/16 – nest time: Almost noon. No red color showing on the church rooftop but the steeple roof is red so maybe the snow has begun to melt a bit. The streets are clear of snow and traffic is moving. The church is very pretty all in white except for the top of the steeple. It is difficult to realize that Christmas is almost here. Another fast-moving year is zipping by at warp speed;

11:30 a.m., Sunday, 12/10 in Gogglingen and there is a heavy coating of snow everywhere; however there are is some light traffic on the roads so maybe they are using snow tires or tire chains, etc. The roads are covered with snow. I wonder how many inches of snow there is – probably not as much as it looks to be. Brrrrrr – no sign whatsoever of the sun. Methinks it won’t make an appearance today but if so, it won’t be much of one and will come late afternoon. Nevertheless, the charm of Gogglingen even comes through this cold… Read more »

At almost 1:00 p.m., early Sat. afternoon, 12/09,, it is a much better-looking day. The sun did make it out through the dark snow clouds; the skies are actually blue with white puffy clouds. The snow has melted on the church rooftop and is red once again. There is still snow on the nest but lots has melted and the nest is filled with sunlight – now a beautiful day in Gogglingen smile

WOW – what a difference a day makes (. . . . 24 little hours . . .” – anyone who visits here old enough to remember that song? A snow day for sure in Gogglingen – even the red roof of the church is all white with snow, and most everything else. It looks like they got lots but the streets are cleared and there is traffic – shiny moving lights in the dark morning with no hint of sun – very gray sky, almost black in place.. Nest time is 7:00 A.M., Sat., 12/09.

Finally – a beautiful sunny day in Gogglingen smile – Hooray!!!!! Nest time is 10:33 Thursday morning, 12/07. So nice to see the sunshine. No trace of snow remains. I hope everyone has a nice day there and everywhere. Cheerio for now.

Nest time: Almost 10:30 Monday a.m., 12/04. The white stork nest is white with snow – a bleak looking start of a day/new week in Gogglingen. Sky is very dark gray – bet it isn’t so cheery driving to work this morning for the local residents. Brrrrrr — gives one a chill just looking at the wintry scene on the cam. Hello to you, Annette – glad someone else ventured aboard this new chat. Have a good day over there in the Southeast (Georgia) smile

Carolyn

What happened to our chat???????? So NOT happy with this – whatever this is – Grrrrrr!!!! Friday, 12/02/17 – Nest time is 8:00 a.m. (Pacific Time = 12:00 a,m, Midnight) More snow on the nest – yesterday a,m, was a very dark snowy mourn.

Annette

Good morning Carolyn, it’s 9:04am EST in Georgia. I totally agree with you. This thing is madding. Some are saying it will get better as they work the bugs out. I hope it will be soon.
