-This live camera came back online on 2/7/25 and at that time we could see that this eagle pair has 3 eggs! The exact lay dates are not known. However, we can at least compare the timeline of last year and get an idea of when they might hatch. We also know that when the nest was checked on 1/18/25 the eagles were incubating eggs.
Last nesting season this eagle pair laid 2 eggs. The first egg was laid on 1/22/24 and 2nd egg laid on 1/25/24. Bald eagles usually stick to a similar schedule when nesting(not always though). Sometimes, weather and others things like availability of food can alter this greatly. However, in looking at the broad picture I can say with confidence that most likely the 3 eggs laid this year were laid in mid-January. In general I’d say that we should start looking for a hatch around the last two weeks of February. That means we should start keeping a closer eye on the eggs as soon as next Monday(2/17/25). Keep in mind this is an educated guess and nothing is guaranteed.
