-It’s been reported that an eaglet has gone missing from the big bear eagle nest. The last time three chicks were seen was during yesterday evenings feeding. Fast forward to this mornings feeding and only two eaglets could be seen in the nest bowl. ๐ญ
There is some speculation that one of the chicks got caught on a parents talon and flung from the nest. Another thought going around is that it got flung to the edge of the nest bowl and never made it back. Also, some are saying that on the right side of the nest bowl area facing the center of the nest you can see a beak sticking out of the snow.
