Earlier today a squirrel came into the nest and ate a good portion of the egg while the eagles were away. Edit: after receiving feedback from several viewers it was generally determined that the squirrel didn’t actually eat the egg. Some say they see bite marks that have created holes in the egg. Others say the egg is still intact(not damaged or impaired in any way). You be the judge on this one.
