Yes. I saw it had a diamondback appearance on it as best as I could tell. My guess would be a Western Diamondback rattlesnake. But it was hard for me to see well enough to determine if there was a rattle on end.

The salt blocks need to be broken up and put in ground

Mineral blocks contain a large amount of salt. Benefit of mineral blocks over pure salt licks is how long you can use them… DEER especially CRAVE SALT in the SPRING and SUMMER when water and other minerals are plentiful, but come fall, they won’t want it as badly.
