-It’s been hard going at the KNF Eagle E-3 nest. The parents haven’t been doing a very good job providing food for the eaglets and the older chick has been attacking its younger sibling. Today was a terrible sight. The older chick grabbed onto the younger one and almost fatally injured it. It took about a half an hour before the injured chick showed signs of life and got back up. Since then both had been upright and calling for food. The video starts right before the attack. In addition to that, If you rewind to the 8:34 mark you will see E4 at the edge of the nest. E3 comes up and almost knocks it out of the nest.
