-On April 12th the KNF eaglet E3-03 was branch hopping around the nest. Suddenly it decided to try flying. Well, that didn’t work too well. It glided down to the ground. The worry was that it wouldn’t make it back to the nest and being on the ground was a vulnerable situation for the young eagle.
Then yesterday, when one of the parents was in the nest. The eagle chick flew in and landed in the nest. Whew! All is well and the great news is that E3-03 knows how to fly!
