Many moons ago we camped in Glacier National Park. We had a seasonal pass we bought before we left home. At that time it was $20 for a pass. I guess those days are long gone. One of the most beautiful National parks we ever visited. I don’t think they had rafting at that time. Looks like fun!

Mama, you have done so many things in your life!!! (and have many stories to tell. I still think you should write a book about all of it……..I would buy it!!!)
I’ve never been to any National Park.. The only National thing I’ve been to was Washington DC……..too much City for me, even though it was kinda cool to be there but I’d rather be out in nature.

LOL…. it would be BORING. Now that bro of yours, he could write a book for sure. There’s a National Park in PA. Maybe you could go there sometime. We spent a week there one time. Rained and rained. We went to the library before we left, so we were prepared for the rain.

sorry sis but I wouldn’t read mtmama~Pa book..:-( I’m a “get the movie & watch” type of guy & just read 1 book & 1 book only… however my wife probably would read it as she is an avid reader & literally taught our children to read before they were out of diapers…

mtmama~Pa I would buy it to generate books sales though… 。◕‿◕。

Anyone visiting WA state can stay @ any state park for an annual fee $30.00. Our “instrumentation degree son” just got his… He has an alternative motive though… He’s trying to get a disc golf course set up in Larabee State Park & has a meeting with forest management this Friday… Larabee is the 1st state park established in WA state. Young A has a lifetime national park pass that’s good for WA state parks too that we got him 2 years ago…

OK, yippee ki yay… here we are one big happy family reunited!!!! Just like the olden days of yore! Good to see you d tex. You can run but you can’t hide from that sista of yours. Even if she has to scour the ends of the earth, she will find you by and by. All I can say is to echo your sista….. it’s so good to see you again even if you adopted a new moniker. But like always, we forgive you for disappearing. All is well on the mountain too. Kids and “children” are doing well too.… Read more »

Middle Fork of the Flathead River
The Middle Fork of the Flathead River forms the southwest border of Glacier National Park. This view, from near Park Headquarters, shows the river as it flows under the West Glacier bridge. At night some of the lights of West Glacier may be visible. During the summer watch for rafters. Several commercial rafting businesses use this section of river. In the winter the only activity along the river might be the occasional coyote or deer or a really cold kayaker.

Howdy Jan, I’ve lived in 18 states & been to 46 of 50. I my opinion, every state has it’s own beauty & I have a lot of fond memories… I lived in Choteau, MT. for 3 months in the summer of ’82 & while there I learned to milk a cow, helped build log cabins & went through Glacier Park on road trip to West Glacier from Choteau. It was the 1st time I saw a “Western Cedar tree” & WOW! Glacier Park is in the top 10 of my favorite places I’ve seen / been to… not in… Read more »

What is that song called? ♫I’ve been everywhere man, I’ve been everywhere? I’ll bet you know that song. I think you could write a book. But I’m seriously jealous. You learned to milk a cow. Something I never mastered. Good to see you! blowkiss

Mama, you never mastered milking a cow??? It’s so easy. Just slap the milker on them and away you go!!! LOL
I’ve tried milking a cow by hand………is NOT as easy thing to do for sure!
