Early this morning things suddenly got very quiet at the stock tank. It wasn’t long after and a beautiful Great Horned Owl came gliding in. It landed on the top railing of the stock tank and took several big gulps of water. The owl stayed for over 15 minutes! After a little bit you could start to hear small birds scurrying and flying around as if to say “hey let us have a turn”. Pretty brave considering the top predator could make them an easy meal. Then, just as quickly as it came it left. What a treat! 🤩
