Hatch Watch Begins – ND Leef Bald Eagle Nest Cam

HNF

-

It’s been 33 days of incubation for the first egg as of today. Bald eagle eggs hatch after 34-36 days of incubation on average. This year I’ve been seeing quite a few bald eagle nest cams where the first egg has been hatching at day 37,38. Every nest is different. Things like the weather, food supply and quality of incubation can play a huge role in when the first egg hatches. We should see a hatch here at the ND Leef nest within the next 5 days. Be on the lookout for a PIP!

1st egg laid 2/16/25, 2nd egg 2/20/25 and 3rd egg laid on 2/23/25. Stay tuned and donโ€™t forget to sign up for our email updates! ๐Ÿฅฐ
