Iris has laid 2 eggs so far this nesting season. The first egg apparently was with a different male than who she is with now. 1st egg laid 5/2/24, 2nd egg laid 5/5/24. The male she is with now got rid of the 1st egg the day after she laid it. Since the 2nd egg was laid her new male partner has been doing an excellent job both providing food and incubation when needed. Osprey incubate for about 38 days on average before eggs hatch. If all goes well should see a hatch around June 11th 2024.
