-The Duke Farms eaglets will be six weeks old this week, marking the halfway point to fledging. At this stage, the eaglets are becoming more active, practicing standing, walking, and stretching their wings in preparation for eventual flight.
New Jersey Fish and Wildlife biologists are scheduled to visit the nest for a check-up and banding of the eaglets next week. The anticipated date for this visit is April 10th, with a rain date set for the 11th. This visit will provide valuable information about the health and status of the eaglets, further contributing to the conservation efforts for these majestic birds.
