It’s been an interesting nesting season for Irvin(male) and Stella(female). This year, unlike any other recorded, they have 3 eggs! It seems to be a trend in general with bald eagles this year. For some reason a fair amount of nests have 3 eggs and a few even have 4! Below are the egg lay dates and also we should start to look for a hatch of the first egg around 3/19/25. That day marks about 34 days from when the first egg is laid. Most bald eagle eggs hatch after 34-36 days of incubation on average. Stay tuned and don’t forget to sign up for our email updates! 🥰
