Canada geese lay their eggs 1-2 days apart and begin incubation after all eggs are laid. Incubation lasts for about 28 days on average before the eggs hatch. Once all the eggs hatch the gosling will remain in the nest for up to about 18 hours before jumping out of the nest to be with their parents.
