-Just because they leave the nest doesn’t mean the work is done. ๐ In this adorable video you will watch Olive the hummingbird feed her two fledglings. One of the little hummers was perched on a branch when mom showed up. It didn’t take long for the other little one to show up anticipating food. From the time baby hummingbirds leave the nest mom will continue to feed them for about 10 days until they have learned how to find food and avoid dangers on their own.
