-In this short video you will see a male Mountain Lion(Cougar) come in for a drink at the water tank. Mountain Lions are rarely seen by humans as they are elusive and mostly active during the night. In Arizona, Mountain Lions primarily prey on Deer as their main source of food. It’s estimated that there are about 3,000 Mountain Lions in Arizona. Male Mountain Lions grow to be about 6 to 8ft long from tip to tail and weigh 100 to 200lbs. They are an ambush predator. If you are in an area where Mountain Lions live it’s highly recommended to walk in a group if you are out at night and never let your pet wander off as it may never come back. ๐ณ
