-Sapphire laid her 2nd egg on April 5th. That means its been about 15 days of incubation. Hummingbird eggs usually hatch between 14-17 days of incubation. If you look closely the top egg has a “ring” on it. That means we should see a hatch very soon! Once they both hatch Sapphire will feed both of the chicks regurgitated bug juice for 3-4 weeks until they are old enough to fledge.
