-Eggciting times at Olives Hummingbird nest! It’s been about 14 days since the last egg was laid. Allens Hummingbird eggs usually hatch after 14-17 days of incubation. Incubation starts after the last egg is laid. Once the first egg hatches, the 2nd egg will hatch within 24 hours from the first. The mother will feed both chicks regurgitated bugs for about 3-4 weeks before the little chicks fledge.
