The male(slightly smaller in size) and female both help in incubation of the eggs and will also both provide food for the eaglets after they hatch. This camera was Set up and is maintained by Berry College, a private college located in Mount Berry, Georgia. Nesting starts in early January. 2nd egg laid 1/14/2020.

Eggs hatch about 35 days after being laid.

About this nest – The nest is located in a tall pine tree situated between the main entrance and the parking lot of the Steven J. Cage Athletic and Recreation Center. This is the only known live camera feed of a Bald Eagles nest in the state of Georgia.

One egg broke. The one in the nest did not hatch.
Nothing happened to Mom. She just gave up trying to hatch and egg that isn’t viable.
