-Unfortunate news for this nest. Decorah north mom & dad had two eggs and it looks like neither one is going to hatch. The first egg (DN19) tried to hatch, but couldn’t break out of the shell and ended up not making it. The 2nd egg(DN20) is now on day 40 and has been deemed non-viable. In this video you will see the female bald eagle move the remains of DN19 out of the nest bowl.
