"Woodie Cam" Wood Duck Box

This is a live inside view of a wood duck nest box. The camera is located on Holt Lake near Smithfield, North Carolina. After the eggs hatch the ducklets will remain in the nest for up to 18 hours before jumping out. The camera is mounted on the inside top corner of the nest box facing down. Wonder whether Florence has caused any damage on Holt Lake. Hope everything is ok there. (9/16/18)
After a look at news from the area, I can see there are many roads closed or high water. Cross fingers for Woodie’s house!

He has flooding but it is starting to go down. The boat house is not accessible and dock is under water.
