This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
I am heading to bed, had a restless night last night, my ankle was hurting.. DIL called and we talked till after midnight night.. by then I got my second wind.. lol so I was awake when it gave us some rain, We mostly got a drizzle, when LA by the coast got poured on..I watered the rest of back yard this evening at 1:27 still 8:out.. Hi Gwen…I’m sorry your DH might not be able to go with you…maybe try earlier or later? but maybe that doesn’t work for you..we go in the evening (but don’t go to Walmart often) and there aren’t many people there.

Church this am. Then worked on bookkeeping and a bit of this and that. We watched the movie “The Brink of War” with DBIL & DSIL this evening. It was good – about Reagan and Gorbachev in Reykjavik. Some history we remembered but not enough about it. DH did some more branch trimming. Temps today – 55 to 77 – sunny and nice. Should be nice tomorrow.

Hello…DH grilled hamburgers and we ate on the porch..my mom came over….we also had potato salad, chips, strawberry rhubarb pie, and ice cream…our after dinner entertainment was watching Bane play in the sprinkler 😂
I still have some strawberry /rhubarb pie I just a very small slice… savoring it… lol it is rich.i put half in the freezer..nice your Mom had dinner with you…Bet it was fun watching Bane run through the sprinkler😅

Kitty went home to Colo Spgs this morning; she’s been here for 10 days. I love her to bits and am so glad she left 🙄 I suppose that sounds awful; Rick’s stroke was July 21 and i’m ready to establish a new routine; whatever that turns out to be around the waves of grief. 😔 Funny story: I’m pretty messy and Kitty’s … not. ok, that makes sense…once in awhile I look at nicer, fixed up houses online but….moving is soooo much work…
We had some of that🌨️ just enough to wet the patio and sidewalks…at 2am I went outside just to smell it and I thought about doing a dance, but I might be considered loony at that hour..🤣

Slept in a bit. Was going to take a shower but no hot water. Got hot water later in the day. Did a load of sheets and folded them. Worked on bookkeeping and paying some bills. Sent some questions out to clients. DH and DBIL spent the afternoon fixing a leak in a gutter, and pruning trees so when DBIL brings up their RV they won’t have an issue in our driveway and along our street.
