At 78 days old the young eagle made its first flight at about 12:20pm today. It appeared to circle around the pasture area and then land in the branches to the north (left) of the brush pile by the stream. It sounded like maybe an aborted initial landing attempt, but all is well! Fledge happens at about 1 minute 35 seconds into the video. Congrats DN18!! 🤩
