A sad ending to this seasons nesting for the Berry Eagles. In this video you will see one of the parents deciding that the eggs are not viable. They then proceed to move the eggs away from the center of the nest bowl and cover them with nest material. As far as I’m aware of nothing was confirmed as to why the eggs did not hatch. A few theories are that there was a period of time where the eggs went for too long without being incubated and the other is that maybe they weren’t even fertile in the first place.
