The U.S Steel bald eagle pair first started nesting along the Monongahela River near Pittsburgh in 2020.
2022 – 1st egg laid 2/28/22, 2nd egg laid 3/3/22
U.S. Steel Eagle Cam Historical Timeline: Nesting season usually begins just after new years every year. Expected hatch is 34-36 days from the date the 1st egg was laid.

Today at 12 noon Mom, dad and the eaglet are branching over the river..It is hard not to humanize..it is as if they are waiting for the missing eaglet to return.
