There have been sightings of Irv, Stella and also a subadult that looks to be about 4-1/2 years old. All of the fledglings have left. Sid has a talon injury now. It’s the first time I’ve heard of this type of injury. This video is a little tough to watch, but hopefully Sid’s toe will heal up well.

Sid has most likely left the area on his juvenile journey. This was the last sighting of Sid from 8/19: “On the morning of Wednesday, August 19, 2026, Sid arrived in the nest and appeared to have a decent size crop. Later that day, a parent was spotted nearby meaning in all probability the parent is providing food for Sid. Sid is 141 days old. Statistically on average, juvenile eaglets disperse between 4 and 8 weeks. Sid has reached the 8-week timeframe, so we are hopeful to see him/her again before leaving the area on their final journey.
