This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good Morning, have not been to sleep yet, maybe slept one hour… it is cloudy☁️56 degrees… rain keeps getting pushed back, we may just get a shower or two, so looking forward to rain…I got up so put on the pot roast will add vegs later.. may getaway couple more hours sleep.. today big NASCAR races… and worlds figure skating..

It was very good, the smell woke up DH, lol but he went back to sleep., I did get 2 more hours sleep…am heading to bed soon as I do a chat’😴😴

Good morning 💛 A partly cloudy day here with a high temperature of 63°. Seems the entire neighborhood is working outside cleaning up and mowing yesterday. Our mowing service has not started yet. DH started up the push mower and mowed the back yard. He paced himself and back yard looks beautiful. He said he will mow the front yard today. DH and I went to the graduation celebration continental breakfast for the local Union Gospel Mission’s Life Transformation program. We support the mission, as does out church, and it is always inspiring to hear the stories of some of these people who are in recovery from addictions of various kinds. Then we went grocery shopping for a few things afterwards, including some balloons for DH to put at the ADU for when DBIL and DSIL show up on Monday with the moving van. Moving into the ADU. That has always been the plan, though happening sooner than we expected. They also have a camper in Oregon and an apartment near her folks in South Korea.

It’s 4p and dark enough to be raining — and it is 🌧 Finally. Internet was on the fritz for about 3 hours; glad i didn’t have anything pressing to get done online. 😠 Delivered a trunk/backseat full of recyclables; glad that’s done. I watched some of the astronauts press conference today. They are much more emotional and touchy-feely than astronauts of the prior generation. I think it was not considered “manly” back in the 60’s and 70’s.
Times have changed, was emotional, think people are more open now. I watched some of the press conference also..
I pray we get some rain.. heard there is to be snow in high levels in the high Sierras…

Good afternoon, I slept in today as DH (he had a rough night) I finished reading a book…lol Have Becca begging for her dinner, seems she never got used to the time change.. we have 72/56 partly cloudy, sun peeking out every now and then.. now saying 70% chance of rain tomorrow, a change each day.. Glad you were able to sleep in. I watched the splash down as well. I noticed (it is interesting) that at the time of Apollo 13, NASA said the blackout time was 3 minutes. That was their experience up until then. But Apollo 13 took 6 minutes. I don’t know if they changed the time they announced a blackout could last then, but by now they have.
Good morning friends 💛 A sunny / windy day here with a high temperature of 64°. We need rain and under a fire danger alert with the high winds. Summer like weather in the week ahead. Walmart in-home delivery will arrive this morning. No tipping allowed as it is included in our yearly membership. I always give drivers a pack of peanut butter crackers….lol. Great idea for giving the a treat for deliveries.. ourDIL set up a table at their front door over the holidays with snacks and water, she had a sign thanking them . It was out of sight from the road as they live in a cul de sac.. and they have pillars in front so partially hidden .. what a great idea…
That’s a nice idea to give a treat to the delivery-person; they may not have time to grab lunch & a snack can make all the difference 💖
