This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
85 and partly cloudy, with lots of wind… I have been busy, trying to get things done before my cataract surgery early Tuesday morning,,, our A/C is on nights in low 60.s..I went to church this am as DH doesn.t go because the pews seats are not comfortable.. it was a full chapel this morning, went to the 11:00 service and was home by 12:30, later cleaned the kitchen, bathroom floors.. ..DH and I talked about what to eat Tuesday for dinner since I may not be able to see well with blinders on all night…. I think the blinders are just for outside? if you keep the lights on low inside it won’t bother you, they are mostly for your comfort.

This Dell laptop is on its last legs; dang it 😟 I used the old ASUS/Windows 10 earlier today; but that’s not really a good option. I have an almost brand new HP, but about 3-4 years ago i got scammed via that laptop and been afraid to use it ever since.
You sound like DH something went crazy on our HP computer with windows a he was done with it… so frustrating! Good luck with yours…

I know we were looking into buying another one, but when get done with these surgeries and how much it will cost, put it the back burner, for now we use my iPad…
i could probably get away with a simple I-Pad, i certainly don’t use all the features of a laptop, but it’s what i’m used to. The Geeks at Best Buy can probably scrub/reset the HP for me, i just have to make the appt and drive into Pueblo. 😔
mine lasted about 14 years and I was pretty sad when it had more and more problems..it was a gift from an owl friend/MOD

DD arrived late yesterday afternoon. Family emergency with our YDS going by ambulance to hospital yesterday. He has been having dizzy spells and depressed. ODS went to visit him yesterday. DD is at the hospital now with him. Would appreciate your prayers.🙏 (He was laid off from his job 6 months ago and ever since has been not his usual self.)

Good morning….sitting on my porch listening to the birds and watching the squirrel eat the peanuts. I think we are just staying home today, mostly. I have some new reading material from a garage sale …Country Life (from England) magazines, a book called A Wolf Called Romeo. I also bought a couple cute light blue chairs, 2 for $5 at the sale just because I liked them…one is now in the library with a basket holding books on top…not sure yet where the other one will go…might even ask my sister is she wants one. This morning DSIL and I went to a ladies (Cuties to Classics) potluck brunch. I brought cheesy hash brown casserole. There was so much food and quite a variety. It was a nice time. Then home to work on replying to a letter from the IRS for a client, and working on some more on tax returns. Sent out one last question on one return. DBIL & DSIL leave early tomorrow morning for South Korea, and DH will drive them to the airport. Then we will have the dogs while they are gone.
