This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good late morning…my sister didn’t come over until pretty late last night…she and our mom had gone out of town to visit aunts/uncles, two different towns..them at our mom’s, DB came over…he /they chatted but mostly had to work on a couple things…my sister and I might drop off donations today…not sure if we’ll go to Dunkin? Starbuck’s? Aldi? , depends on if she has time and if the roads and detour isn’t too bad…a road is being worked on…I’m doing laundry, time to get it out of the dryer.
oh and Gwen, not sure when we will see DS…last year we did see him at Christmas..I don’t ask because even if he plans on coming, sometimes his plans change…and Pam 😂 still not sure how many, it’s possible there were only 10 😀 but usually there are more 😀
I get that about plans changing with an adult child!
seems he often decides on a race at the last minute..or does he just send us the link at the last minute, lol…

Gloomy days are not my cup of tea.😏 Thinking most of the weekend about how we got talked into changing to a new primary doctor that will visit us in our home. Sounded great. However this is one doctor covers four counties in PA😯. His office is two hours away. So once he comes for the first visit….you know he will probably have local RN’s coming in the future. Oh wow! Yeah, it is tough when things sometimes sound too good to be true. Stay with the doctor you like as long as you can. DH’s keep retiring and then he HAS to change. Mine keep going on maternity leave, or leave to change practices, or for other health reasons, but I can stay at the same practice.

Didn’t sleep well last night – stomach hurt in middle of night – maybe something I ate – better by morning. Church this morning. Stopped at Office Depot on the way home to shred 3 boxes of old tax returns. Got home and had lunch and then read a bit and took a nap. Watched a live youtube session of a commenter I like. I went to early church service today, came home changed clothes and vacuumed the house, put a load of laundry in. and cleaned out guest room, got the rest of DGS shoes, sports bag filled with shoes 3 pr.. couple odds and ends ..When our Youngest DGS comes Tuesday evening will send it back with him to DS and he can pick it up there. Tomorrow will do all the bedding that will take awhile. My ankle started hurting as was on my feet and we are having 87 degrees.. same to be tomorrow.. Good afternoon…very quiet here..no caregiver so DH is at his dad’s…my sister and mom went out of town..so I’m doing some laundry, litter boxes, this and that..going to relax in a bit..I’ll catch up on the chat first.
oh and i found out that DS came in 5th in a race in Alabama, haven’t checked to see how many were in it yet, didn’t even know about it.
Glad your DS came in 5thin the race..at least he is in the states now.. Do you think you will get to see him ?

Good morning friends 🍂 Morning mist with showers later in the day. Hard freeze tonight with a low of 31.
Our Japanese Maple tree showing beautiful fall orange/gold colors. Leaves will probably all fall off tonight with the freeze. Laundry will be the chore for the day. Team work.

love the pretty maple trees, those and the red ones too. It takes a long time for all of ours to fall off…I see some leaves on them even in the winter. I don’t like when most or all are gone and the trees are so bare…I can see houses across the ravine and I’d rather see the trees.
