Hello…my sister and I walked at a park…came back and played outdoor games, then awhile later went out for pizza with our mom and ate outside on the sidewalk..DH worked all day digging a trench and laying down the pipe..he was going to turn the gas on (he’s done that before) but there was a lock on it so guess they’ll do it. I’m doing laundry now and waiting for my sister to come back over, we’ll watch a show or short movie..last night we watched two episodes of The Middle (I have the dvds).
How nice to eat pizza al fresco…🍕….nice weather you are having.

Hello…this weekend went to a Lincoln-Douglas debate with my sister and our mom..my sister and I sat back aways…later a cookout and musi in the park…also a parade…today we might visit FIL, short visit I hope because we have other things we should do today…tomorrow and Wednesday she has plans with our mom. It would be nice to go out of town for a bit. DH is working at his rentals, digging and replacing pipes, there is a gas leak. The weather has been so nice, sunny and lower temps..hope you all have a nice day 💕

Looking at our school calendar…..first day of school is Tuesday September 1st. Years ago school always started after Labor Day. Philadelphia schools start school today.
DD brought us a container of her homemade Chicken A la king. It is thawed out now….so easy dinner tonight. I will put it over toasted sourdough bread triangles. 😋

Hi Tea…I think they start too early..here they started last week and some schools don’t have AC…it’s still summer. That was nice of DD and will be a yummy meal.
School started last week here and week before that some other areas… the week before… they get out middle of June here, so they have a short summer… yummy dinner you are having.. looks like our temp will be at 100 , kinda overcast off and on,,
Yep, ours always started after Labor day. It does here, but i know many places start earlier in August. First day of school where my DB lives in NC is August 12th!
We always started after Labor Day, now it’s mid-August!! The kids out here started last week, then were off 3 days because of the Fair; i have no idea why 🙄
