Live Barn Owl Nest Box Cam – Dorset, UK
This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
So, the pilot light still keeps going out. 😡 Had the maintenance folks out again and they could not fix. Suggested a new hot water heater even though this one is not that old. DH said we’d think about it. He did some research and he thinks it is the thermocoupler. I know about them from our gas fireplaces – they go bad a lot. So he is going to try to replace that tomorrow. If not, we will call another place we use for second opinion. So no hot water still really. 😒 I did take a shower this… Read more »
Sorry you are still having water problems, hopefully DH can fix it… at least you could get a shower and some laundry and a load of dishwasher done..💕

Good early afternoon, another hot day on the books, 98 at noon, sun shinning today. Humidity at 48%, it was so warm last night , I hate to see our electric bill, we do get a reprieve of $50. Credit on our electric bill,, Got one in July and this month, they have been doing this for last 3 yrs, we also get a medical of 30% every month as DH has to use a breathing machine 2x a day. Hello…last night I watched the eclipse, so pretty..I could see it well from my kitchen and later, my dining room windows, once it got up higher than the trees. This morning I walked with my neighbor/friend, just a short walk. DH is going to leave work early..we’ll run a couple errands, maybe go to a park? or eat somewhere? we’ll play it by ear..next week he said maybe he’ll take an afternoon off, to go to a park or the lake, we’ll see. Time to finish my iced coffee and the lunch.
We saw it also from our front deck, I agree so pretty — god’s creation, nice of DH to leave work early so you can do something💕how nice to be able go for a walk with your friend… enjoy the rest of your day…
I hope you go to the lake next week……..I know you really enjoy floating around….lol
I didn’t bother to look – between out clouds and trees, I usually can’t see anything. However, I probably should have tried. I know some around here did see it.

Awesome , so happy Kitty will be visiting you for a week… sorry you can’t get perishable grocery delivered,,, we make short trips to grocery store, have to make a Costco run next week as I didn’t go this month, to hot, I like to go and see what they have as putting things out for Xmas already.. they have items on sale right now my DS told me.. want to check it out..
