This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Just wanted to let you all know my brother Rick passed away this morning; he is at peace — those schizophrenic demons in his head have been laid to rest.
I am so sorry Pam, you and your family have my sympathy. Yes he is at peace and the good Lord took him so he doesn’t have to suffer .. Glad Kitty was with you both,, take care and sending love and Hugs🙏🤗 ✝️

Worked on more bookkeeping today. Also worked on the one (and first) Washington Estate tax return I have. Still researching some information and sent out two follow-up emails to make sure I have everything right and in the right place. Rain today. Temps 47 to 66.

Hello there Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 💖 Been a very rough few days, sorry I haven’t stopped by. Rick’s been moved to the Hospice wing at Pioneer. Such a lovely room, plenty of seating for families; all painted/decorated by volunteers; including butterflies on the wall 🦋 And a very nice recliner if/when Chuck wants to stay the night. Rick had a shower and when the nurses were talking about whether or not they should shave his beard, he was very clear; NO. 😄 They don’t use a morphine drip, but mixed with a couple other meds, they syringe it into… Read more »
Hospice is usually so good and helpful. Glad he has such a nice room. That was similar to the rooms at our local hospital cancer wing. I figured things had gotten hectic over there, Enjoy your time with Kitty. 💕🙏

Good afternoon we are still a couple degrees cooler …like 89, last it got down to 66,,,I was quite busy yesterday with a number of phone calls, then late afternoon, DS, 2 grandsons, (middle & youngest) , middle brought his girlfriend with him. Good morning…yesterday DH and I went to the lake…I swam for a little over two hours and my muscles felt so relaxed, good feeling, last night..used to swim at a neighbor friend’s house before she moved, for a couple years..I’d forgotten how good we felt physically and mentally, we would talk about it..she took care of grandkids and taught them all to swim, good times.
I haven’t gone swimming in a long time. Most lakes here too cold. Glad it was so nice.
I wish I still had a pool to swim in, didn’t have to go far and nice to see what’s in the water.
people were saying there are little fish that nibble on your legs there..I kept my legs moving, lol
