This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Happy October everyone. The holidays are coming up fast, not sure if I am ready for that’s, but they will be here regardless…lol i may not be on as much as my IPad is not charging like it should as I have to play with it to charge, There is a place by Costco that fixes phones, iPads, etc. I took it there a couple years ago. Happy October 🎃 It’s still raining, 36 hours; thankfully, it’s the soft stuff; if it was pouring, we’d all be building arks! It should start drying up … sometime. 😄 Busy month, lots of fun little ‘holidays/celebrations’. Tea asked our favorite pumpkin spice treat, mine is ice cream. When living in AZ, I visited a farm to get some pie-pumpkins. Tea, i cut a pie pumpkin in half, turned it upside down on parchment lined cookie sheet then baked it for an hour, til it was soft. I had an ice cream maker and just used a regular recipe adding scooped out/mashed pumpkin ‘meat’. But i’m thinking you can make a ‘cheat’ version using a good quality plain vanilla or pumpkin ice cream . Beat/Cuisinart in the mashed/cooled pie pumpkin meat, not the skin/peel 😄 and whatever pumpkin spices you like; i’m always heavy on the cinnamon, just a personal preference. Pumpkin lattes or even just coffee creamer in regular coffee, pumpkin muffins, soft pumpkin chocolate chip cookies from Fred Meyers, pumpkin bagels, etc. Our local bagel place used to have pumpkin bagels every October and I would buy and freeze a dozen. They went out of business and the new place that just opened, doesn’t have them.
I know you like anything pumpkin……enjoy all of them.
Sorry your pumpkin bagel place went out of business.. they have more bakery items in pumpkin, I get them pumpkin spice creamer for my coffee . It is by Delight brand..I want to go to Starbucks and get the frappe pumpkin one..maybe this weekend..
Padres won to night also 4-1 Made a trip to Walmart, milk is still down to $2.45 a gal, we get he 2 %.’ The car worked fine, so far so good, picked up another gal of coolant to keep in the trunk. Hello october
Coffee with friends this morning as we start studying another book of the Bible. Home to find a client had dropped off her first packet of information, so I went through it quickly so I could send back questions. This will be an easy one, as long as I get the answers. Also, worked on another client who sent me more information, though still missing stuff. Filled squirrel and bird feeders. No rain today – temps 48 to 67. Watched another Marble Hall Murders.
