Gwen! You have rain & the good kind 🌧☂ That’s fantastic — so happy for you Sounds like a lovely time at Carlsbad.
I watched Isaias on the weather channel for a couple hours last night; fascinating to watch the water roll up thru the dunes.
Please, please tell me what this word is supposed to be: We erected with DD, SIL and Steve … 😟

I would love to see a sunset over the ocean! I know it’s beautiful. I watched Jim Cantore during the hurricane.

I’ve seen several sunsets/sunrises over oceans and they’ve all been pretty spectacular. Mallory Square in Key West is one of the more famous sunsets.

Our favorite vacation spot was Anna Marie Island, Florida. Island only 10 blocks wide.
We could see the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening. Our children still remember.

Good morning Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 A few more hot days to deal with, then, with any luck at all, ‘real’ autumn weather will take hold & stick around for a several weeks. 🍂 Chuck was supposed to have jury duty yesterday and i was so excited to have the house to myself. Alas, they canceled and he was home at 9.15a. Good thing I hadn’t started running around naked — that would’ve caused some serious trauma for both of us! 😯 Got 2 weeks worth of pill boxes filled — hate doing it, but it sure does make life… Read more »

I filled pill cases today too. 😉 I do 3 weeks at a time.
Sorry you did not have some alone time.
Your weather has been so hot…..I guess you would want to run around naked. 😆

I suppose you could run around naked at night, if you can be sure Chuck is asleep. You could slip something in his evening drink….😁 i have said something similar when my DBIL comes into the house and DH announces him. DBIL asks why DH does that and I tell him it is simple courtesy, because who knows I might be running around naked. He replies that he doubts I would do that even if I was alone in the house. He is right of course, but one never knows. 😆

I posted a response earlier, but I guess it didn’t take. I guess you can always run around naked while he is asleep! You could slip something into his drink to make sure.

Good morning friends 💛 Sunshine this morning then becoming mostly cloudy this afternoon. High 72F. We will have rain from the hurricane tomorrow. Forecast calling for 2-3 inches.
Chore for the day will be laundry. I will be filling my pill cases too. (every three weeks)
Mark came for a visit yesterday and brought us some bakery goodies. He does have a sweet tooth. I placed them in the freezer to spread out the treats.
Hope your Saturday is a good one. ttfn 💛

Well, worked on one of the big returns and think I have it finished. Now I just have to wait until the retirement funds get deposited to complete the return. Got a few more pieces of information on other returns. Got a city and county return ready to put in the mail to a client who has to sign and snail mail them. The federal and state I will put on the portal and file electronically, but can’t do that for those local returns. Luckily she is getting refunds so even if the mail gets messed because of the holiday… Read more »

I should have, but it was getting too close to dinner time and I still have 100 miles until I am on empty. Having a hybrid that gets 40 mpg helps. 😊

Good morning…it’s kind of dark here, DH said it’s starting to rain..didn’t even know it was in the forecast. I have some inside jobs to get done anyway…I was reading about DS…so he was covering and documenting the Empire State Building Run-Up, would have been a cool thing for him to run up it, but still it’s cool that he got to ring the bell. Going to drink my vanilla caramel coffee now.
