Contacted the bank in NC where the DB who passed away had a bank account that I was also listed on. I had left it open because it had auto pays that I could not change until I got my approval as administrator of the estate. Then I left it open until the house sold so as not to have to change them and I had originally expected that to be about a year shorter than it was. Good afternoon…it’s so grey out, we had a little rain…the next several days will be chillier and chance of rain, bummer…so not as much outside time maybe. DS left this morning..last night we went out for pizza and he told some of his fascinating stories….also we went to FIL’s house..he seemed to recognize him but gets really confused about who people are…sometimes thinks DH is his brother and asks about his wife. yes, the stories are very interesting but..glad I don’t know about all the dangerous things until later…he’s gone through some scary stuff over the years..
So glad DS had a chance to visit and tell some of his stories. I know it was not long enough for you, but sometimes we just have to take what we can get. That is funny that he doesn’t really know why he got to ring the bell. We also are still waiting to hear of DD will be here for Thanksgiving or not. Some scheduling issue.

Good morning 🍂 Sunny here with a high temperature of 72°. I placed an order with Walmart for in home delivery on Thursday. The earliest time frame available was Saturday 9 am to 1 pm. So far so good with ordering, but the main issue is will order be delivered? Fingers crossed all will go smooth this time. DH having issues with hernia. Appointment with specialist November 6th. Had a one hour training today on a new feature in my tax software for 2026. Actually it is just a revised old feature packaged differently but I did want to learn what had changed. Then wrapped gifts for our friends that got married a few weeks ago, because they came by tonight to discuss what changes in their taxes now that they are married.
