This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Woke to snow and 3 degrees; at least there’s no wind and i guess 3 is pretty good compared to what some of the country is going thru.🙏 It did get to plus 12 around 3.30p; now it’s starting to drop again. Did a load of laundry and when i set the dryer, put the wrong temp on. When trying to reset it; i didn’t know it wouldn’t take; so after 40 mins, the clothes were still too damp to hang & it’s so cold … UGH. In Calif everyone is getting rid of Samsung appliances… can’t get parts to repair them.. this has been going on for a couple years now..
Good evening friends ♥ The snow will begin in the middle of the night.❄ Snow turning to sleet ending Monday morning. We are expecting over 10 + inches of this mess. Temperatures will be in 20’s all week. I spoke on the phone with three neighbors today. We are all going to help each other get through this storm. New neighbors next door offered to help with snow removal and asked if we needed anything from store. So nice. I told each neighbor they can use our electric outlet on porch if they lose power. Good early afternoon, it rained off and on a night last night.. is cloudy today with winds.. My DB called this morning and they had -1 degrees, he used his leaf blower to get snow off the steps and sidewalk, did top part of driveway…may you all stay warm’.. Good morning friends ♥ Sunny morning and temperature is 11°. This winter storm is going to be bad for so many people and wildlife too. Forecast calling for 10 inches of snow, sleet and ice here. Could be more.
We are prepared as much as possible. Called Charles to be on call for snow removal. DH I know will give it a go…..before he calls for help.
Making pumpkin custard for a side dish. (Like pumpkin pie without the crust)

Hope DH can be persuaded not to try to shovel snow. 💗It is one of the most dangerous activities for older folks. My folks retired from NY state to down south for that very reason.

Having some rain showers off and, I could not go to sleep as foot pained a lot, took a pain pill…t is 57 out now at 2:30.am
Went on the Syd site and Mel paying a visit, then Syd using her feet clearing space on the floor…hopeful eggs soon….

I hope you eventually got some sleep. Pain at night is awful.
Slept in this morning. Worked more on bookkeeping and payroll taxes, excise taxes, and 1099 forms. Sent out some more questions, got some answers. Went grocery shopping and picked up prescriptions. DH came with me. He hasn’t worked much this week due to the lightheadedness. Got my hearing aids cleaned at Costco. Watched another episode of Rosemary & Thyme. Doctors think DBIL has had a Crohn’s flare, inflammation in small intestine, and he is being treated with steroids. He will be in the hospital for a few days. Prayers for your DBIL , maybe a good idea your DH didn’t try and take the train, what if he would have gotten dizzy and something happened’’’, Prayer his monitor comes Monday and he gets answers…🙏🙏
of course I don’t know what’s causing your DH’s dizziness but my DB went to a chiro for his and it was cured…his atlas in the neck was “off” a bit and he was dizzy and sick, missed work. praying for your DH and BIL.
Low pulse rate is the issue.
