So, now DBIL is being released tomorrow. Not because he is doing better, but because they think he can manage his nutrition and hydration better at home with small tweaks not possible in a hospital setting. Who knows?! His GP has started the process of getting preauthorization on the new drug. My friend who had surgery yesterday called me tonight. She complained that while she seemed to be able to do more physically, she didn’t think her mental state had improved. Good morning 💛 Some sun with a high of 32°. Big change is weather over the weekend. Snow squalls, wind and cold weather alerts all over our news. Been so cold for so long, our garage doors are not working properly.
From our car the door will go half up and stop. Other door the same. This winter has been hard on everything.

Got phone calls early about my friend going in for shunt surgery, because she got the year wrong at check in, and I am her POA. Got that all straightened out between their further conversations with her, and my follow-up return phone call. The surgery went well, and she is in her room. A little confused after surgery, but that is normal. Hope to get more of an update tomorrow. DBIL’s MRI showed nothing new.
