Good morning. Happy President’s Day.
A dusting of snow arrived this morning. Partly sunny with a nigh of 38°.
Felt a little light headed when I woke up, so I took an extra potassium pill. Feel better now.
Put meat loaf ingredients together and will let them marinate before forming into 2 loaves.
Dinner will be meat loaf and roasted baby carrots and potatoes.
Have a nice day. Take care ♥

A nice weather day for you. Hope you can have a nice walk after groomers.
My DH really enjoys meat loaf.
I will roast sweet onions too.
I like the roasted vegetables more than the meat loaf.😋

Not doing roasted vegetables just yet, because DH needs them well-cooked (per doctor’s orders). We like them better too. Also finishing up all the prepared mashed potatoes I bought. Will started microwave baked potatoes now since we usually end up mashing them on our plates while eating them.

Church this morning, then on the way home stopped at Fred Meyers to get the security tags taken off some clothes I bought on Friday at the self checkout. 😳 I swear it didn’t buzz at me when leaving the store on Friday, but it sure did buzz at me when I entered today! DH fixed something on my computer and then I worked on two tax returns. Also laid down and read for a bit as I was tired. Watched All Creatures Great & Small with DH. Temps today 32 to 50. Possibility of some snow showers overnight in… Read more »

Those security tags must be taken off by cashier with purchase. Self checkout should have warned you in some way. Glad it all worked out for you. Years ago I bought a very expensive dress for my sons wedding. When I left the store in the mall, three security men followed me and asked me to come with them back to the store. (I never heard and buzz when I left the store) I was so embarrassed and scared as I did not realize what was happening. Once in the store they checked my paid receipt, took the security tag… Read more »

I don’t remember if I ever had that happen, but I’d be a bit embarrassed and maybe nervous.

I have had this happen before. This time I was standing right next to the clerk helping with self checkout and we were right by the security sensor, and he would have said something if the alarm had buzzed (and I didn’t hear it). Those sensors are inconsistent, I have found. So I just brought back the paid receipt and all the items and they were very nice and quickly took care of it. I don’t think she even looked that hard at the receipt. I think it is not uncommon.

Hi Gwen ♥ I hope you will be able to go to your wound care appointment today. Safe travels in the rain.
Seems your DH is feeling better with doing a little hedge trimming. You have been busy too with outside work before the rains come. Both of you take care with the rains coming this week.

kind of but not as long as what they need..hopefully we can get them to a couple parks out of town in the spring but it’s not fun in the truck with them. The dog walks with our training place are the best..we really move along and it’s an hour or almost.

Watched pairs short program ice skating yesterday afternoon. So much pressure on the top teams….some don’t do so well. Feel sorry with all the work they put in for years.
Pairs long program this afternoon.

I’m watching at night now, at least when it’s nice out. But then I have to try and not see any news about them before I watch. One time I made the mistake of going to Decorah and found out something before I watched.

Pebble Beach was very stormy Saturday and Sunday.
PGA golfers had a tough go at it with strong winds and rain.
Scotty did not do so well. Collin Morikawa won in the end. 🏆

Good morning….it was foggy out when i woke up. The high will be about 60 today so going to see if DH wants to take the dogs to a park in town or the cemetery and walk. We had pizza last night, and i just had a leftover piece. Maybe I’ll do a load of laundry today but I’d like to spend a lot of time outside, too…walk, maybe clean up the yard a bit, etc. Hope you all have a nice Sunday..I’ll watch the Olympics tonight.

With a high temperature about 60, it will be a good day to spend outside.
How is your son? I hope he is okay with finishing the race with walking.
Enjoy a nice walk with the dogs.

Overslept this morning so didn’t get to make breakfast for DH this morning. So I owe him one. He brought me White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha coffee and yellow roses.💖 I worked on two tax returns and sent out questions. I did a load of laundry and folded it. Sorted a lot of email. Updated our wooden calendar (almost halfway through the month so I thought I should change from January to February. 😁 Made meat loaf for dinner – a little different from what DH has been eating (mostly salmon for 2 weeks) and we both like meat loaf. Also… Read more »
