Presidio Red Tail Hawk Nest Cam

Doesn’t seem to be the ideal place for an owl nest, or any nest actually. I’m surprised that they would choose such a noisy location with very little privacy.

Do male owls bring food to the nest, or must she leave to eat?

He bring in smalls birds and mice . cheese

Thank you. I wondered if the 2nd egg was taken while she felt forced to seek prey. Last year’s RTH male was not best of providers (compared to the Cornell nest). Didn’t know how reliable male owls are ;~)
