-Video opens with a pair of Black Vultures landing on the nest tree. They pose no threat to the nest and are not a match for eagles. Black and Turkey Vultures help juvenile birds survive their first year by finding dead animals. Eagles and juveniles dominate vultures, allowing them to eat together or take food if it’s light enough.
After a little bit the Vultures leave then shortly after F23 and M15 visit the nest tree.. F23 arrives first, and M15 brings nesting materials. F23 gets in M15’s way when he lands and helps with nest maintenance. M15 performs a nest test. F23 leaves first, and close-up views of M15 on the attic are provided. M15 follows F23 and departs to the northwest.
