A healthy looking piebald buck appeared on the PA deer cam this morning(11/5/24) wandering through the creek bed. The buck looked to be an 8 pointer. You will see him come into view about 25 seconds into the video.
What is a piebald deer? A piebald deer is a whitetail deer with a genetic mutation that causes a mix of white hair on the deer. On average Piebaldism effects less than 1% of the whitetail deer population.
