Mother goose re-hides the eggs and re-arranges the nest.
A raccoon came into the Decorah goose nest on the evening of 3/11/25. It proceeded to dig up the eggs then scatter them around the nest. Both eggs still looked to be intact and are accounted for. Then the nest morning mother goose came to the nest and put everything back to where it needed to be. The video will show you the sneaky raccoon making its way into the nest, digging up the eggs and trying to break them open. Lets hope that doesn’t happen again!
