Early this morning Shadow flew in and landed at the nest. He then proceeded to feed the chicks some breakfish. After a few minutes of feeding he grabbed the unalived eagle chick, picked it up and tossed it out of the nest bowl. A sad ending to what many had hoped a different outcome. The good side of this is that it gives the two remaining eagle chicks better survival odds overall. More updates to come.. Stay tuned and don’t forget to sign up for our email updates! 🥰
