MaryNJ: 10/22 7:00 am Big was a little bit out on a branch and a currawong started diving at Big. After about 2 minutes, Big jumped back down into the nest. At 7:04:21 Big called out at the currawong and then Lil called out. It’s interesting to hear the difference in their voices. Big has a higher pitched squeaking sound and Lil has a deeper honking sound.
MaryNJ replied: A little later, Big was up on a steeper branch and the currawong startled Big as it flew by. Lil played it safe and stayed on the railing.
