On December 25, 2025, something very exciting happened at the Kisatchie National Forest E-3 bald eagle nest. Andria III laid her second egg, and Alex II was right there with her in the nest. This special moment was caught on live camera, and it is truly amazing to watch.

🥚 A Special Christmas Surprise at the Eagle Nest
Andria III did an excellent job bringing her second egg into the world. Alex II stayed close by, helping guard the nest and support her. At one point, Alex II’s face almost looks like he is thinking, “What just happened?” It is hard not to smile when you see it. 😂🤗
Eagles often lay more than one egg during nesting season, and this second egg gives the pair an even better chance of raising healthy eaglets. The nest looks well cared for, and both parents are doing exactly what they should.
