The Decorah Eagles Live Cam is one of the most watched bald eagle streams in the world, offering a real-time look at eagle activity near the Decorah trout hatchery in Iowa. Viewers can follow Hatchery Dad (HD) and his new mate as they patrol the territory, build their nest, and prepare for future nesting seasons at this long-established eagle site.

About The Decorah Eagles

Although interlopers had been seen in and around the Valley of the Norths, bonding activity and nestorations were proceeding well! We were ready to predict that DNF would lay her first egg sometime between February 11 and February 14. But all that changed when Mr. North disappeared Friday. What happened? Our last confirmed sighting of Mr. North was on Friday February 6 at around 1:30 PM, when one of our camera operators saw him fly past the creek. A few minutes later, she… Read more »

More: We don’t know what happened to Mr. North. We’ve notified nest neighbors that he is missing and will be checking the area around the North nest for any sign of him. Given everything that has unfolded since Friday, however, we are being careful not to approach the nest too closely and risk further disrupting nesting activity. While this change is understandably difficult for many who follow DNF and Mr. North, these events unfold according to the rhythms of the wild. Much of their story takes place beyond our view, and some questions may remain unanswered. Whatever the outcome, Mr.… Read more »

Hi Tracy! Me too! There is a shop in town that specializes in charcuterie boards. I haven’t tried one ($$) but they look awesome. It’s finally come out of the deep freeze here.

I’ve never made one but they sure look good. It’s going to get above freezing here in a few days. Can’t wait. Ice overnight tho.

I took my car in after work because the check engine light was on. O need some kind of a thermostat and some sensor. Luckily I bought the extended warranty when we bought the car. This was the first time I had done that. The reason I bought it was because we got an Ecosport and that was only the 2nd year that Ford had made it. Since it didn’t have a track record I decided to buy it. Now I am glad I did.

I need to see a close up pic of the two of them to see if I can see a difference. I wonder if they can get closer with this camera?
