The Decorah Eagles Live Cam is one of the most watched bald eagle streams in the world, offering a real-time look at eagle activity near the Decorah trout hatchery in Iowa. Viewers can follow Hatchery Dad (HD) and his new mate as they patrol the territory, build their nest, and prepare for future nesting seasons at this long-established eagle site.

About The Decorah Eagles

The adult eagles on the Decorah nest are known as HD (Hatchery Dad) and HM2 (Hatchery Mom II). Named for the nearby Decorah trout hatchery, HD is an experienced male who has raised multiple eaglets over the years, while HM2 is a newer nesting female.

Didn’t get to see any football because of the baby shower. The shower was so much fun. They are using baby forest animals for the nursery theme so that was the theme for our shower. Everything was so cute. I will post some pics tonight. They got so much stuff and this was the 2nd shower. There was also a KC shower.

Morning. Forest animals seem to be the growing thing. Glad you had a good time.I’m not fond of 2 showers unless the babies are far apart of a different gender.

Hi Fran. I agree about 2 showers. This is their first and they say the only. I think this will be the one and only/

Wouldn’t you love to know where she spends her days and nights? Do you know if she has been spayed?

Over the years there have been very few ferals in the hood, she does have a clipped ear, so she is spayed. Thats why i feed her, and not others as i dont want kittens. There was a cat that showed up and neighbor was feeding, took a long time but i did TNR on him and he left and lived at a neighbors til he died, . Guess i scared him off. Then Tracy cat showed up and that was in the fall of 2021

Interesting… Expecting a boom year for snowy owls. PARADISE, MI – Snowy owls might be on the move this winter.

The majestic white birds are known to have boom and bust migration years. It can be difficult to predict what years Michiganders will be spotting these Arctic visitors and when their numbers will be sparse.

Recent sightings at Whitefish Point Bird Observatory could hint at a possible boom migration, known as an “irruption.”

There has been one spotted sitting on a street sign not too far away. It’s considered an irruption here also.
