2025-2026 SWFL Eagle Season Recap

- F23: last seen February 27, 2026. On March 4, nest operators announced that she was presumed dead after credible reports of a deceased eagle found less than two miles from the nest.

E26 looks so much larger than M15. I think we may have a baby girl here!

I checked the video, and M-15 snuck that snake in a little while ago, and she about ripped it from his talons, so he left quickly. You are right, Ardyth, she was hungry. The white shoulder feathers are really showing up now.
SWFL site said it was an eel. Not that it’s any less yucky 😝
I thought that was a snake. I saw baby taking it from dad. I worry about dad and baby getting proper and enough nourishment.
M has got this. He raised two eaglets that were way younger than E26 by himself when Harriet went missing and both eaglets thrived and fledged. He’s great dad and provider.

I just keep seeing F23 doing her “selfies”! I can’t even fathom how it is that she is gone now! She was such an amazing momma, so fierce! What a great mate for M, they were soo bonded!
