- M15: Veteran provider & nest engineer; known for multiple fish deliveries/day in pre-lay.
- F23: First egg of 2024 laid Nov 8; 2025 Nov 12th; in pre-lay periods she often eats on the nest and increases time in the nest tree.
How to Watch (Cam Tips)
- Playback: Use the DVR bar to rewind ~12 hours.
- Audio: Wind can mask vocalizations; try the 4K cam for clearer sound.
- Behavior cues: Mantling over food, aerating, rolling eggs, “chortle” vocalizations.
- Tip: For the best audio of chortles and wingbeats, use the 4K cam.
- Local time: The nest operates on Eastern Time (ET).

I have heard from several people who have followed this nest for a long time, that they believe M-15 is down at the river, teaching E-26 how to fish. (You mentioned something like this, MaryNJ.) I’ve heard the river is about a mile down the road. So maybe E-26 will stop by one more time before she leaves. And I hope we get reports of M-15 coming and going through the off-season. 💕
So nice to see life per Sub toying around the nest. Of course I’d love to see Little E back for a visit….

A sub-adult visited the nest today. Maybe wants to claim it for his/her self, but it’s not mature yet.

Following is Androcat’s most recent video of our baby. Beautiful soaring! ❤️❤️ (kind of loud). E-22 did this just before s/he started the big adventure. I love the way we can see E-26 turn her head every which way, taking it all in. So exciting for her! 😘
Beautiful soaring! Thank you, Karen. Just wish E26 would have had a good meal before leaving on his/her journey. Seems like E26 was hungry and was calling for the dad to bring something to eat. Hope E26 went to the nearby river to look for fish.

The last time M brought food, E26 didn’t show up for it, so he probably thought that E26 was gone and so he left for his usual time away from the nest. Hopefully, M will use the same nest again for the next season. His priority now will be to find a new lady friend.
I believe we just about have it all figured out now. 🤣😂 I am so hoping that M does come back to this nest next season. E-26 is well-trained and seems to study new situations before stepping in, so I’m thinking she has all the skills she needs right now. 🙏I am praying for both of them, and also F-23 – I bet she is soaring high. She flies so beautifully. 😍 I am really missing them!
