I can not find it in the video, Sid was standing right on the stick next to the tree branch in two occasions. I’ll check again…
From the June 5th nest notes – “1st Branching – noted by Susan, Sid at 06:36:22 (Cam 1) and Nestcam at 06:35:59. He jumps up with both feet, then slides a little.” By June 6th 2:51 pm, the video from the previous day at 6:35am would have already rolled off, unless you have special access to recall more than the last 12 hours of video. 😂 A couple of days ago, Irv was feeding Sid and Hutch, and Maz was allo-preening Irv’s tail feathers and under his wing for about a minute, and the dad stopped feeding and looked back at Maz as if to say, “What are you doing?” The dad’s reaction was cute. She seems to love allo-preening.

Very late feeding tonight. The river was really muddy today, so I don’t know how Irv managed to catch a fish in the dark with a muddy river, but somehow he did. Amazing. Stella fed the eaglets.
Hutch only got a little bit of the fish. Sid had grabbed the tail end of it and wouldn’t give it back to Stella. Hutch was determined to eat, so he grabbed the end of the fish from Sid (Sid had eaten all of a small fish about a half hour prior to this).
That fish disappeared very fast! Down the hatch for Hutch.
